PhD Position − Queensland University of Technology (QUT)
Brisbane, Australia

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong interest in macromolecular synthetic chemistry to join our multi-national and transcontinental research team (http://www.macroarc.org) based in Brisbane, Australia, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to undertake her/his PhD (3 years) in a joint PhD project with the team of Prof. Andreas Walther at Freiburg University (https://www.walther-group.com) for advanced reprogrammable material design.


The successful applicant will be based in the School of Chemistry, Physics and Mechanical Engineering (https://www.qut.edu.au/science-engineering/our-schools/school-of-chemistry-physics-and-mechanical-engineering) at QUT as well as spend time in the group of Prof. Andreas Walther. If desired, a cotutelle program (joint PhD between QUT and Freiburg University) can be established.

The Scholarship is indexed annually (starting at AU$27,171 per annum). The scholarship is tax exempt for full-time students. International students will receive an accompanying QUT Higher Degree Research Tuition Fee Sponsorship. An excellent level of English is essential.

Postdoctoral Position − Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)
Karlsruhe, Germany

We are seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral candidate with a strong interest in synthetic photochemistry to join our multi-national and transcontinental research team based at the Karlsruhe, Germany, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) to undertake post-doctoral research within our research team in the field organic photochemistry for advanced photoresist design in close collaboration with our partners in physics and cell biology.

The successful applicant will be based in at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), with the option of spending time at our research hub at in Brisbane, Australia, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and join our research team (http://www.macroarc.org/).
